French Letter layout USB Keyboard

French PC Azerty L-type USB keyboard.

Specifically designed for new users this keyboard maintains as closely as possible the classic flat keyboard layout (for existing Azerty users who wish to remain with the Azerty letter layout).

The L90 incorporates a native USB controller for use with both PC and Apple computers.

The four multi-media control keys present on Apple keyboards are included for both PC and Apple use (Eject only works with Apple OS).

Note: In the following layout diagrams the primary key layout shown in Black is engraved on the keytops. The green letter/symbols show the alternate ROM layout key positions, and are NOT engraved on the key-tops. All key-top engraving is laser engraved as "black" (actually due to process factors of laser engraving it is a dark grey) on light grey key-tops. See picture above.

Notes:

• Key-tops are laser engraved with the dominant keyboard layout (shown in black). All engraving will be black on the grey key-tops as per picture at top of page.

• Both letter layouts (Maltron/Azerty) are always available irrespective of the key-top engraving, and are selected by a switch on the underside of the keyboard.

• Both PC and Mac usage options are also always available and this is selected by a mode switch on the underside of the keyboard.

• Number pad media key functions are dependant on operating system and computer program function (e.g. Eject is Mac only).

New Two-handed Maltron keyboard.

During the last 25 years more than 2,000 keyboard users have now successfully used a standard Maltron two-handed fully-ergonomic keyboard to recover from keyboard induced pain.

The new Maltron "L Type" two-handed keyboard model updates our existing proven design with new key layouts and a native USB controller for native operation with both PC and Apple computers.

Dual engraved key tops are optionally available for users who need to be able to change between the two installed layouts.

All key positions are specifically mapped in the keyboard irrespective of layout selected, no additional setup is required in the computer in order to use the keyboard.

All Maltron keyboards also contain an alternative Azerty key place map which can be selected by the user.

Benefits of the Maltron Fully Ergonomic Keyboard.

• Two key groups for letters with a central number group keep wrists straight and strain free.

• Redefined thumb groups with double height key for spaces now also have double height keys for return and tab.

• Central numbers suit both left & right handed users.

• The letter keys are angled inwards to match natural finger movements and the keys for the longer fingers are recessed further to reduce finger "cramping" and provide a more relaxed hand posture.

• Large palm pads give a comfortable resting and relaxing zone for hands and arms during “thinking time”, to encourage blood flow and recovery.

• Four separate layout (2 x PC and 2 x Apple) key code lookup tables return correct key codes for PC and Apple specific functions.

The MALTRON fully ergonomic keyboards have been shown to relieve the symptoms of RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) in hundreds of cases and has enabled many RSI sufferers to resume their careers.
