Notes:

• Keys in blue are Extended Function Keys used in conjunction with the Fn key for Multi-Media and additional F13 to F24 (F16 to F24 for Apple Macs).

• Key-tops are laser engraved with the dominant keyboard layout (shown in black) and the function key usage (show in blue). All engraving will be black on the grey key-tops as per picture at top of page.

• Dual layout hand engraved key-tops which also include the secondary keyboard layout (in green) may be supplied as an optional extra (see price list).

• Both letter layouts use the same key codes and are selected by the language toolbar (or by Caps Lock on PCs under Windows by a custom KEY*.DLL).

• Both PC and Apple Mac usage options are also always available and this is selected by a mode switch on the underside of the keyboard.

• Multi-Media key functions accessible to the user are dependant on computer program function and operating system.

New Two-handed Maltron keyboard.

During the last 25 years more than 2,000 keyboard users have now successfully used a standard Maltron two-handed fully-ergonomic keyboard to recover from keyboard induced pain.

The new Maltron "L Type" two-handed keyboard model updates our existing proven design with new key layouts and a native USB controller for native operation with both PC and Apple computers.

Our standard letter layouts of Qwerty and Maltron have now been expanded to include the popular alternative Dvorak letter layout.

Dual engraved key tops are optionally available for users who need to be able to change between the two installed layouts.

All key positions are specifically mapped in the keyboard irrespective of layout selected, no additional setup is required in the computer in order to use the keyboard.

All Maltron keyboards also contain an alternative Qwerty key place map which can be selected by the user.

Benefits of the Maltron Fully Ergonomic Keyboard.

• Two key groups for letters with a central number group keep wrists straight and strain free.

• Redefined thumb groups with double height key for spaces now also have double height keys for return and tab.

• Central numbers suit both left & right handed users.

• The letter keys are angled inwards to match natural finger movements and the keys for the longer fingers are recessed further to reduce finger "cramping" and provide a more relaxed hand posture.

• Large palm pads give a comfortable resting and relaxing zone for hands and arms during “thinking time”, to encourage blood flow and recovery.

• Four separate layout (2 x PC and 2 x Apple) key code lookup tables return correct key codes for PC and Apple specific functions.

The MALTRON fully ergonomic keyboards have been shown to relieve the symptoms of RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) in hundreds of cases and has enabled many RSI sufferers to resume their careers.
