Have your remembered not to worry about keying errors, do not try to go back and delete mistakes - it is more important to key the same group a few more times and get the pattern right than to go back and correct an error.

Exercise 4:

Introducing the o key. The o key is on the right hand home row, using the third finger. Here we begin to coordinate the two hands.

Key each line at least twice.

When using two fingers on the same hand the neurological path to the fingers separates later than when the two fingers are on different hands. Different coordination skills are required. Different errors are likely. These exercises have been carefully crafted to help speed your learning.

This last set you should key at least three times.

A very common error is a two-hand timing error, in the two hand timing error one hand presses the key later than it should (or the other earlier). For example - if you tried to type "so" quickly and you saw "os" then this is probably a two-hand timing error. If you are getting a lot of two hand timing errors then you will need to repeat to these simple exercises. Slowly at first and then return tomorrow and try keying faster then.
