Right hand exercise 21
Unit 5 Exercise 21
The shift key is on your thumb and it is a sticky key. This means that when you key it then it stays on, but it will come off after you press the next key. Here is a good place to experiment.
Click into each box at the end of the first line and press Enter (Return) to start typing.
Key each row three times. Before you start each block, finger the keys to confirm where they are:
Relax your hand for a minute - shake it gently to ensure a good blood supply, bend and straighten the fingers.
Now key these exercises again - without looking at your fingers.
Remember to relax thoroughly. Is your keyboard still angled correctly? Remember it should be at an angle to you.
