ion uses both hands. You may have noticed that as you key faster you make timing mistakes betweeen the hands - like keying ino or oin. If you make these sort of mistakes then it is worth your time to repeat the exercises - slowly now (without watching your hands) and make a note to return again tomorrow. Do not key when you are tired.
To make keying part of your reflex actions you must not watch your fingers.
